With a variety of nursing opportunities available at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals, registered nurse Marielle shares why she recommends working our organisation and how it helped her progress her nursing career.

When Marielle first joined the organisation as an assistant in nursing in 2021, she never imagined just how much she would grow both personally and professionally.

"From day one, I was welcomed into a warm and collaborative environment where my skills, confidence, and passion for nursing were nurtured and allowed to flourish," Marielle said.

"As I progressed in my nursing studies and stepped into clinical placement, I became a proud participant in the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group Partnership Program, completing my final student placement in the Cardiovascular Medicine Ward.

"Each shift brought new opportunities to learn, contribute to a compassionate and dedicated team, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives."

Marielle is now working as a Registered Nurse, working alongside the same supportive team who she says have guided her since the very beginning.

"What truly sets this workplace apart is its positive ward culture, built on teamwork, respect, and genuine collaboration," Marielle said.

"I am surrounded by encouraging colleagues and inspiring clinical mentors who are always ready to share their knowledge, offer guidance, and celebrate each other’s successes.

"Working at NMHS isn’t just a job, it’s being part of a community that empowers you to grow, nurtures your learning, and supports you every step of the way."

SCGH and OPH currently have enrolled and registered nursing positions across a variety of areas and specialities.
