Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) has a national and international reputation for ground breaking research and is the largest public sector research hospital in Western Australia.

We are home to highly acclaimed researchers in a number of fields and undertake research from laboratory-based discovery science through to clinical trials. There are over 500 active research studies on the site.

The Department of Research has two main roles, the review and regulation of research and the guidance and support of researchers.
