Foundation for Advanced Medical Research
The Foundation for Advanced Medical Research at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital raises funds for research projects undertaken at the hospital.
At Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital we are internationally renowned for the quality of our research, and as a non-profit organisation, we rely heavily on support from individuals in our community to assist in funding that vital work.
The Foundation raises funds by various activities. Some of those activities include:
- direct mail campaigns,
- the Tree of Life Project (a bronze sculpture, mounted on polished jarrah, on permanent display in the busy foyer of the hospital),
- Staff Lucky Lottery (a lottery set up for SCGH staff with a $500 prize each fortnight), and Hospital lanyards, which are sold for $4.00 each.
The Foundation is situated on the Ground Floor of E Block.
The office is open from 8.30 – 4pm Monday – Friday.
