Transport and Parking
The Queen Elizabeth Medical Centre site, where Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is based, is being redeveloped into one of Western Australia’s largest medical, research and education facilities.   This means the layout of Bus Stops, Parking and other facilities may change over time. There will be plenty of signs to help you find your way, but please allow extra travel time to get to your appointments.

You can get to the Hospital by bus, taxi or car.

Bus:
There are several bus services connecting the Hospital with the city, train stations and surrounding suburbs, with several stops along Hospital Avenue.

Go to Transperth (www.transperth.wa.gov.au or 13 62 13) for transport information.

Taxis:
There is a rank on Hospital Avenue, with free taxi phones at the E and G Block entrances.

Car:
Please use public transport if possible.
There are set-down and pick-up zones outside the G and E Block main entrances, with limited short-term parking along Hospital Avenue.
Limited paid parking for visitors and patients is available throughout the site. It can be difficult to find parking so allow extra time for this.

The BankWest Buggy provides free transport around the hospital and car parks between 9.00am and 4.00pm on weekdays.
