The WA Pet Service is a state-wide health initiative under the WA Department of Health to provide Positron Emission Tomography (PET) services to the people of Western Australia.  PET is a clinical tool used predominantly for the initial staging, re-staging and therapeutic monitoring of many cancers, investigation of neurological disorders and cardiac viability.

We perform a wide range of PET scans to image oncology, neurology and myocardial viability.

Results take approximately two working days to reach the referring doctor.

Please note: PET studies can only be requested by a consultant or specialist.
