The Department of Vascular Surgery provides a comprehensive service for the inpatient and outpatient management of all vascular conditions, including endovascular and open surgical treatment of:

  • peripheral vascular disease
  • aneurysmal disease – abdominal, thoracic and peripheral
  • carotid artery stenosis
  • reno-vascular disease
  • acute ischaemia
  • chronic venous insufficiency
  • varicose veins (ie ulceration or thrombophlebitis)
  • hyperhidrosis
  • thoracic outlet syndrome
